About the project

STEAM Tales promotes STEAM education through storytelling and hands-on learning. The project specifically aims to boost girls' interest in STEAM topics and potentially future STEAM careers. The public record connects this work to Primary school pupils, especially girls, Teachers and school educators and Schools seeking hands-on STEAM resources, where STEM / STEAM, Digital learning and Entrepreneurship need to become understandable, motivating and practical for real learning settings.

The project creates educational materials that combine stories of women in STEAM with lesson plans and experiments. Teachers receive guides and resources that help them make STEAM learning more engaging and inclusive. The activity record covers Develop introductory guide and assessment protocol, Create 12 inspirational stories of women in STEAM and Create 24 lesson plans with hands-on experiments. The project developed outputs such as Introductory guide, Stories of women in STEAM and Hands-on lesson plans and experiments, with results presented here only where they are supported by the local source record.
